- 1 lb flank or sirloin beef, thinly sliced
- 2 cups bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup snow peas
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Optional: sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the beef in a bowl with soy sauce, garlic, and ginger for 15 minutes.
- Prepare the vegetables by chopping them into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat oil in a skillet or wok over high heat until shimmering.
- Add marinated beef to the skillet in a single layer, searing for 2 minutes without stirring.
- Stir the beef and cook for an additional minute until fully cooked, then remove from skillet.
- Add more oil if necessary, then add the vegetables and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
- Return the beef to the skillet, drizzle with oyster sauce and sesame oil, and heat through for 1 minute.
- Serve immediately over jasmine rice or noodles, garnished with sesame seeds.
Notes
Ensure all ingredients are prepped before heating the skillet. Avoid overcrowding the pan for optimal searing.
