- 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 ripe avocados
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Tortilla chips or small endive leaves for serving
Instructions
- Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Add the shrimp and cayenne pepper, cooking until shrimp are pink and opaque (about 3-4 minutes per side).
- In a bowl, mash ripe avocados and mix in lime juice, chopped cilantro, and a pinch of salt.
- Chop the cooked shrimp and fold it into the guacamole mixture.
- Serve with tortilla chips or scoop onto endive leaves. Drizzle extra lime juice and garnish with cilantro for presentation.
Notes
Let the guacamole sit for 10-15 minutes before serving to meld flavors. Use ripe avocados for best texture.
