Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Tortilla chips or small endive leaves for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  2. Add the shrimp and cayenne pepper, cooking until shrimp are pink and opaque (about 3-4 minutes per side).
  3. In a bowl, mash ripe avocados and mix in lime juice, chopped cilantro, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Chop the cooked shrimp and fold it into the guacamole mixture.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips or scoop onto endive leaves. Drizzle extra lime juice and garnish with cilantro for presentation.

Notes

Let the guacamole sit for 10-15 minutes before serving to meld flavors. Use ripe avocados for best texture.
