A vibrant blend of lime juice, sugar, and tequila transformed into playful jello shots served in petri dishes.
Ingredients

- 1 cup tequila (recommended: good quality blanco)
- 1 cup lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 4 packets of gelatin (flavorless)
Instructions
- Zest a couple of limes for added flavor and squeeze enough limes for 1 cup of juice.
- In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and lime juice; heat on medium-low until sugar dissolves.
- In a bowl, sprinkle gelatin over ½ cup cold water and let bloom for 5 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in blooming gelatin until dissolved.
- Cool slightly before adding tequila and mix well.
- Pour mixture into petri dishes or shot glasses.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until firm.
- Garnish with lime wedges or zest before serving.
Notes
To enhance flavor, always use fresh ingredients. For a twist, substitute tequila with vodka and lime with lemon juice.
