Description
A hearty and flavorful nacho skillet featuring ground turkey, crunchy tortilla chips, and melted cheese, perfect for game days and family gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 bag thick-cut tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 can black or pinto beans, drained

- 1 avocado, sliced
- Jalapeños, for topping
- Sour cream, for serving
- Lime crema (sour cream mixed with lime juice and zest), for drizzling
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground turkey, breaking it up with a spatula and allowing it to brown evenly, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the cumin, smoked paprika, and garlic powder, mixing well to infuse the spices into the meat.
- Add the drained beans to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Create a base layer in the skillet with the tortilla chips, spreading them evenly on top of the turkey mixture.
- Sprinkle a mound of shredded cheese over the nachos.
- Transfer the skillet to a preheated broiler and cook until the cheese is bubbling and golden, around 3-5 minutes.
- Once out of the oven, top the nachos with diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, fresh cilantro, and avocado slices. Drizzle with lime crema.
- Serve immediately while still hot and bubbly.
