- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions

- Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and lay it flat on the bottom of the baking dish, pressing the seams together to form a cohesive layer.
- In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs until smooth and well-combined.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crescent roll layer, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the cream cheese layer, pinching the seams together to seal.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and the filling is set.
- Let cool for a few moments before dusting with powdered sugar. Cut into squares and serve warm or chilled.
Notes
Keep an eye on the bars while baking since ovens can vary in temperature. For a deeper flavor, consider adding a hint of cinnamon or nutmeg to the cream cheese mixture.
