- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs, beaten

- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease an 8×8-inch square baking dish with butter.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, and baking powder; whisk until well blended.
- In another bowl, mix the milk, beaten eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Slowly pour into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free mix. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
