Description

A delightful, guilt-free banana bread recipe that balances indulgence and health, perfect for creating warm moments in the kitchen.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour or whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup low-calorie sweetener or honey
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt or unsweetened applesauce
  • 12 eggs
  • Optional: nuts or dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Add Greek yogurt and eggs, mixing until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and sweetener.
  4. Gradually add dry mix to wet ingredients, folding gently.
  5. If desired, fold in nuts or chocolate chips.
  6. Pour batter into the loaf pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for maximum sweetness. Don’t overmix the batter for a lighter texture.
