Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup Reese’s Pieces
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, then let it cool slightly.
- Whisk in the peanut butter until smooth.
- Stir in the brown sugar and granulated sugar until well-blended.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, beating gently until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
- Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the Reese’s Pieces until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth it out evenly.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the edges are golden and the center appears set but slightly soft.
- Allow them to cool in the pan for around 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a twist, consider substitutes like almond butter, coconut sugar, or mini chocolate chips. Allowing the blondies to cool completely will enhance their texture.
