Description
A nostalgic fudge featuring a blend of white chocolate and caramel, creating a creamy and indulgent treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz white chocolate, chopped
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Sea salt, for sprinkling
Instructions
- Prepare a Square Pan: Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper, allowing some hangover for easy removal later.
- Melt the White Chocolate: In a saucepan over low heat, combine the white chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir consistently until silky smooth.
- Add the Vanilla: Remove from heat and stir in a splash of vanilla extract.
- Pour Half Into the Pan: Transfer half of the fudge mixture into the prepared square pan and spread evenly.
- Layer Caramel Sauce: Gently drizzle caramel sauce over this layer.
- Top With Remaining Fudge: Pour the remaining fudge mixture over the caramel layer, smoothing it out with a spatula.
- Chill and Set: Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or until completely firm.
- Slice and Serve: Once set, remove from the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into small squares and sprinkle with sea salt before serving.
Notes
Allow the fudge to come to room temperature before serving for a softer texture. Excellent for gifting.
