- 8 oz cremini or shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste

- 1/4 cup cream (or milk)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions, garlic, and carrots until softened.
- Add ground turkey and cook until browned, then stir in mushrooms.
- Once ingredients are golden, sprinkle in fresh thyme and rosemary.
- Add frozen peas and cook until just softened.
- Pour in chicken broth and simmer until thickened, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Meanwhile, boil peeled potatoes until tender, then mash with butter and cream, seasoning with salt.
- In a baking dish, layer the turkey-mushroom filling, then top with mashed potatoes, spreading evenly.
- Create ridges in the potato topping with a fork for extra crispiness.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden.
