- 1 cup dark corn syrup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and pre-bake pie crust for 10 minutes until lightly golden.
- Toast pecans in a skillet over low heat for about 5 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and dark corn syrup until combined.
- Add chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and bourbon, mixing thoroughly before folding in toasted pecans.
- Pour filling into the prepared pie crust and sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until set with a slight jiggle in the center.
