A delicious twist on classic BBQ flavors, these stuffed peppers combine ground beef, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar cheese for a family favorite.

- 3 Bell Peppers (red, yellow, or green)
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 6 strips Bacon, crispy and crumbled
- 1/2 cup BBQ Sauce
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
- In a skillet, fry the bacon until crispy, then remove and crumble.
- In the same pan, add ground beef and cook until browned, draining excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix the beef with crumbled bacon, BBQ sauce, spices, and half the cheese.
- Stuff each pepper with the beef mixture.
- Top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes covered with foil; remove foil for the last 10 minutes.
- Serve hot, drizzled with extra BBQ sauce if desired.
Notes
Consider adding jalapeños for a spicy kick or various cheeses for different flavors. Par-bake the peppers for 10 minutes beforehand to ensure they’re tender but firm.
