Description
A creamy, spicy dip that combines the richness of cheese with the heat of jalapeños and the smoky crunch of bacon.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices cooked bacon (chopped, reserve some for garnish)
- 2 fresh jalapeños (seeded and chopped)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 cup green onions (chopped, divided)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the cheddar cheese, cooked bacon, jalapeños, garlic powder, and half of the chopped green onions. Mix well until everything is incorporated.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, smoothing the top.
- Bake for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
- If desired, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for extra crunch, watching closely to avoid burning.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the remaining bacon and green onions before serving.
Notes
Let the dip rest for a few minutes before serving to help it hold its shape when scooped.
