Description

A creamy, spicy dip that combines the richness of cheese with the heat of jalapeños and the smoky crunch of bacon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon (chopped, reserve some for garnish)
  • 2 fresh jalapeños (seeded and chopped)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup green onions (chopped, divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the cheddar cheese, cooked bacon, jalapeños, garlic powder, and half of the chopped green onions. Mix well until everything is incorporated.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, smoothing the top.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  5. If desired, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for extra crunch, watching closely to avoid burning.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the remaining bacon and green onions before serving.

Notes

Let the dip rest for a few minutes before serving to help it hold its shape when scooped.
