Description

A quick and delicious salmon dish glazed with sweet chili sauce, perfect for a casual dinner or unexpected guests.

Ingredients

  • Fresh salmon fillets (about four 6-ounce pieces)
  • Sweet chili sauce
  • Soy sauce (low-sodium, if preferred)
  • Fresh garlic, minced
  • A squeeze of lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: sliced green onions or sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Pat dry the salmon fillets with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, and lime juice.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil.
  4. Place salmon skin-side down in the skillet, cooking for about two minutes.
  5. Gently flip each fillet and brush the glaze over the salmon.
  6. Cook for an additional three minutes until cooked through and flaky.
  7. Remove from heat, let it rest, and top with green onions or sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For variations, try substituting garlic with garlic powder or using honey instead of sweet chili sauce for a milder sweetness. Add Sriracha for extra spice.
