A healthier take on traditional donuts, these air fryer protein donuts are fluffy and sweet, making them a perfect guilt-free treat.
Ingredients

- 1 cup protein powder
- 1 cup flour (all-purpose or gluten-free)
- 1/2 cup sugar or sugar alternative
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup yogurt (or applesauce)
- 1/4 cup milk (or non-dairy alternative)
Instructions
- Gather the ingredients.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the protein powder, flour, sugar, and baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the yogurt, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) and prepare your donut molds.
- Equally divide the batter into the molds, filling each about halfway.
- Place the molds in the air fryer basket and cook for about 8-10 minutes.
- Allow them to cool for a few minutes before removing from molds.
Notes
For variety, try adding different extracts or cocoa powder. Serve warm with fresh fruit or nut butter.
